Vitoria-Gasteiz is the official capital of the Basque Country. The city boasts an exceptional number of open green spaces, of which its famous Green Belt is just one. Other attractions include the city’s medieval quarter and historical monuments. Shopping in Vitoria-Gasteiz is a particularly pleasant experience as the city centre is almost entirely pedestrianised.
