"Flowers are important in people's lives because they help us understand the passage of time, the fragility of things, and the rhythm of the seasons. Having a neighborhood flower shop means knowing the names of your neighbors and a little bit about their lives," says Eduardo Hurtado, explaining the purpose of Del Bosque, which aims to bring nature closer to the residents of La Peña through fresh flowers grown mainly in Bizkaia, as well as preserved flowers and plants of all kinds. Del Bosque shuns the classic florist's shop with red roses and paniculata, opting instead for local, sustainable, and different products to offer a lively space connected to the environment. It offers very affordable bouquets to fill everyday life with beauty and creative floral arrangements for events, gives workshops on plant and orchid care, and has even made a special place in its florist's for small artisan brands that share its philosophy.
