Joyería Relojería Martínez has left its mark on the sector. Maite and Txema Martínez de Baroja inherited the business from their father who taught numerous watchmakers the trade. In fact, Martínez is something of an institution. At one stage, there were four watchmakers working in the workshop and he had 40 grandfather clocks in the store, the biggest collection in the city. Nowadays, the collection of classic and contemporary wrist watches continues to attract horologists while others come for the magnificent range of gold and silver jewellery.
